Biography

Juan Carlos Altavista (1929-1989) was an Argentine humorist. He is best remembered for his character Minguito, who was censored during the country's last dictatorship for his "slang language". The truth was that he was persecuted for being a Peronist. Minguito participated in the hit television comedy show "Polémica en el bar" and formed a comic duo with Juan Carlos Calabró's character Aníbal.
