Biography

Ihor Verys is an elite Ukrainian-Canadian ultrarunner based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, who works professionally as a commercial insurance account manager. He made sports history in March 2024 by becoming the first Canadian to finish the legendary Barkley Marathons, completing the brutal 100-mile unmarked course in 58 hours and 44 minutes.
