The investigation takes an unexpected twist when the leads point towards a pregnant TV celebrity—who is 59—Vanessa, who seems to have left reality behind for reality TV.

A serious influenza pandemic is threatening Norway, making this a matter of the highest priority. Victoria is heralded as a national hero —even Devold offering some faint praise for her actions. She returns home to celebrate with her son, only to receive a message that Johannes has been kidnapped—with the perpetrators demanding the shipment of medicine as ransom.

Meanwhile, the rest of the B-team are starting to catch up, and show their loyalty towards Victoria, as they hatch a high-risk plan to take down O.K. and rescue Johannes.
