Synopsis
The dark secret of the most wealthy and powerful man 謝罡 in Shanghai in the 1930s is related to a mystic Buddha statue from a secret Miao tribe. His son 尚楚 (Andy Lau) will find out his family's fate once the Buddha is missing...

Today, he is holding a large birthday party for his grandson CHUN. While everybody is enjoying himself, there comes the bad news that CHUN has just been hit down by a car and is now unconscious. They rush him to the hospital but he soon dies. The driver, BOND, is the adopted son of TSE's best friend. TSE feels that it is an ill omen.

SAM is touched and the romance between them sparks off.
