- 1. Episode 1Now viewing1994-09-1948mThe truck driver, LEE XI MAN, and his good friend NG KWOK SUN, are both worked in KIN KEE Transportation Company. They are good friends with brotherly love. They always support each other. He has married his wife, HO YEE, for seven years. The love feeling between them are getting cool down. They have a son, NG HEUNG SING, who is very clever, smart and lovely. MAN and SUN find the boss of the company they worked at is very mean. They decide to join a bigger transportation company, SUN CHEONG company. They ask FEI to introduce them to that company. In order to flatter FEI, they buy FEI's watch with high price. Unfortunately, FEI' s watch is booty. SUN tries to sell the watch. Unfortunately, he meets a cop who is trying to arrest those selling faked goods. An exciting pursue is started.
- 2. Episode 21994-09-2048mSUN mistakenly hurts a cop during the escape. He eventually flees home. The cop, MAK WAI FAT, ask MAN for help. MAN secretly informs SUN to flee instead. SUN hurries to escape away and cannot bring SING together with him. Meanwhile, MAK arrives. MAK has encountered an accident during the chase. SUN is born good and kind. He rescues MAK. MAK feels very touched. MAN meets SUN. SUN decide to denounce himself to the police. However, he heard that the cop he had hurt was died. SUN again escapes away. MAN worries a lot. It is SING's school day, the parents of the students are supposed to visit the school for students' result delivery. The police has set up everything to catch SUN. However, SUN can breakthrough the besiege and brings SING away. SUN and SING flee away together.

SING feels very exciting. SUN is filled with emotion. He recalls his childhood dream. He tells SING his dream on football. SUN listens with relish. The relation between the father and son is deepened. In another aspect, MAK bothers MAN for SUN's trace. Though MAN finds MAK very troublesome, he has no way out. Friendship also establishes between MAN and MAK. SUN and SING wander around. SUM does not want SING suffer. He plans to put SING in an orphanage. However, he loves SING so much that he is reluctant to be a parted from SING. SUN eventually decides to bring SING together to live in his dream world - the wild world. They start their new lives.

SING admires SUN who has deep knowledge in living in the wild world. The relation between SUN and SING is getting better and better. MAK and MAN are still trying to find SUN's trace. They eventually find SUN's truck at the foot of a hill. MAK's superior, HUNG, is very serious and cold-blooded. HUNG orders to besiege SUN. In order to save SUN, MAK has to find SUN before HUNG gets him. with MAN's guidance, MAK eventually finds SUN and SING. However, SUN again flees away in confusion. He even seizes MAK's pistol. SUN and SING flee to a small village. The police besiege the village. SUN is shot in confusion. SUN's life is at stake. SUN asks MAN to take good care of SING before he died.
- 5. Episode 51994-09-2348mSUN has passed away. SING is being sent to the children centre temporarily. MAN is applying for the right of breeding SING. SING has become very reserved and silent. He misses SUN and his words. MAN and YEE' s relation was already not good Conflicts further arise due to SING. MAN has eventually got SING after a lot of complicated procedures. MAN tries his best to make SING feel good. However, SING escapes away instead. While MAN is vexed for SING, he finds that YEE is disloyal to him. At the same time MAN gets to know a girl named YIP FONG. They leave a deep impression on each other. with MAK's help, MAN finds SING in a remote hill. SING agrees to back home with a conditioned that he could meet SUN again. MAN does not know what to do.

MAN and YEE create a happy family image so as to gain the right of fostering SING. YEE agrees to help. They are succeeded to hide the truth from the social worker. YEE then leaves. MAN is very upset. He drowns care in wine. SING consoles MAN. SING and MAN get to know each other better. They become very intimate. They comfort each other. SING's school has a new teacher. The new teacher is YIP FONG who has met MAN before.
- 7. Episode 71994-09-2747mFONG comes form a rich family. She just backed from overseas. She will stay in Hong Kong for one month and will back to U.S. to see her husband. Her move to work at SING's school seems to have a secret. FONG deliberately gets close to SING. The school held a football team member selection. SING is one of the hottest potential football team member. Meanwhile, somebody plays trick on the disciplinary instructor refuses SING to tell the teacher who is the naughty guy. SING faces the risk of being disqualified in the football team. SING is very upset. MAN does not know the details. He thinks that there is still a gap between SING and him. He deliberately treat SING better. He gets into trouble through clever means. SING refuses MAN's good intention. MAN does not know what to do.

MAN encourages SING to face the challenge. SING is lack of confidence in himself. In order to help SING re?gain his confidence, MAN studies a lot of knowledge regarding football. He hopes that he could help SING. In another aspect, FONG also appoints a current professional football player to train SING. MAN then knows that FONG is the good teacher who always takes care SING. During the selection, SING is filled with confidence. SING wins YIM miraculously. Applause is showered upon SING. MAN takes a days off for catching SING's football match. It leads MAN to be sacked. The result of the selection is announced. Unexpectedly, SING is not selected.

SING is eventually selected into the football team. Since MAN was sacked, he strongly believes that there is of no use to be an employee. He decides to lend money from the loan shark and buy his own truck. He feels very prospective. FONG held a birthday celebration, she invites SING to join the celebration. MAN feels strange about FONG who treats SING so good. SING enjoys the celebration a lot. He stays in FONG's home overnight. MAN the first time stays at home alone since he has adopted SING. MAN feels very lonely. He suddenly aware that SING and him have already established a very special relationship.

SING eventually returns home after wandering for a night. SING turns very cool to FONG. MAN is happy to see SING who does not want to recognize FONG. FONG's husband YEUNG MAN LAI has arrived Hong Kong from U.S. LAI requests FONG to back to U.S. with him as she has already fulfilled her wish in meeting SING. FONG refuses his request. She wants to bring SING to U.S. LAI struggles. He eventually agrees FONG's demand after she implored him urgently. FONG negotiates with MAN regarding SING. MAN refuses FONG's request. They separate unhappily.

LAI pretends to love SING in front of FONG. He shows his hatred to SING when FONG is not around. SING knows that LAI does not like him. He leaves FONG's home at night and backs to MAN's place. SING tells MAN the truth. MAN swears that he will never let SING leave him. LAI and FONG negotiate with MAN again. FONG expresses how she has missed him for nine years. However, SING is not affected at all. LAI wants to use money again……

They are ready to overcome the hardship together. MAN feels very touched. In order to win the suit, MAN works hard to find a high pay job. MAN is exhausted. The day for the suit is due. LAI and FONG has employed the most reputable lawyer to speak for them. They are full of confidence.

MAN's wife, YEE, points out MAN's weaknesses on court. MAN feels sorry for himself. He thinks carefully whether he is suitable to be SING's guidance. He decides to try his best to have SING after spiritual struggle. However, the case of being sacked and the case of SING being hurt are all unveiled on court. MAN is at a very bad position. Fortunately, SING wins the favour of the judge when he gives statement at court. SING expresses that he would like to stay with MAN instead of FONG.

When he wants to explain the case to SING, SING has disappeared.

The court will only decide who will adopt SING when SING has calm down. FONG loses everything. LAI forces her to move out. with MAN's help, FONG moves in the YAU MA TEI's old flat. FONG fills with sorrow to face such terrible condition and strange environment.

FONG and LAI have eventually divorced. FONG learns to live anew with MAN's help. MAN has got a new job in a small size transportation company as a driver. He works hard to earn money for repaying the debt. FONG and MAN request to see SING but are being refused. The psychologist points out that SING is at a strange psychological stage. He could only be cured with love and passion. FONG sends SING recording tapes to express her love and care. Though she is sick, she still sends SING tapes. SING is eventually affected with her sincerity. He agrees to see MAN and FONG. It is out of their expectation.

SING avoids FONG as he is not used to live with FONG. FONG is very upset. MAN comforts and encourages FONG. The gap between the mother and son is gradually removed. MAN owes the loan-shark great debt. The loan-shark threatens MAN to repay the debt. The loan-shark even threatens to kill MAN. FONG takes the initiative to help MAN and asks LAI to help. LAI lends money to FONG. LAI forces FONG to sign up a debit note. FONG agrees. LAI regrets after FONG has left. He misses FONG a lot but he dare not to express his feeling. LAI goes to a pup for a drink. Unfortunately, he encounters a disaster and is being stabbed by a killer.

He immediately sees FONG but is obstructed by SING. FONG takes good care of MAN. He has gradually recovered. KIN invites MAN to work for him. MAN transports some goods to Jiang Lung River. MAN encounters typhoon and loses contact with FONG and SING. FONG and SING worry a lot for MAN. They go to the sub-urban car park to wait for MAN the bad weather. There is storm and thunder. The situation is very dangerous.

MAN is affected with his passion. He is ashamed of himself who has never treated FONG so good. He considers thoroughly. He decides to develop his career elsewhere. FONG is left in Hong Kong alone. MAN returns to Hong Kong after three years……
