Synopsis
The Brothers García is an American sitcom that premiered in 2000 on Nickelodeon and ended in 2004. It was among the first projects of Sí TV, an effort to produce programming featuring Latino characters, however being aimed at a diverse audience. The series was billed as the first English-language sitcom to have an all Latino cast and creative team. The series aired on the programming block Nick on CBS from September 18, 2004 to September 17, 2005, where the series ended its initial run. Reruns on The N started on April 7, 2008, and ended in May 23, 2008. Similarities to the series could be made to the style of The Wonder Years and Everybody Hates Chris, with an older version of the main character narrating each episode in a witty and sarcastic manner.

- 1. Best Laid PlansNow viewing2000-07-23When Ray has to sell the tickets he bought for the boys to see the ""Astro Nut"" wrestle, the boys find a creative way to earn the money themselves. The boys have a wrestling match: Son of the AstroNut VS El Gordo. Larry gets injured, and Sonia doesn't let him go. Sonia and Lorena discover the joy of Bingo.
- 2. Love Me Tender2000-07-30Carlos and George fall for the same girl and they wage a war against each other to win her affection. And Lorena experiences her first crush. Lorena loses her shoe, and Mario Wopple, the boy she has a crush on, returns it to her.
- 3. The Right Stuff2000-08-06Larry submits his dads name for a Space Shuttle mission. When Ray makes it to the final selections he doesn't know how to tell his son he doesn't want to go in to space with out breaking his heart. Carlos also with great difficulty tries to teach his Dad how to use the internet.
- 4. No hablo Español2000-08-13When Carlos fails his Spanish test, his dad makes him watch a soap with Lorena. However, he was originally going to stay at his weird uncle's house, but Ray changed his mind. He then at dinner time, has to report in total Spanish to the family about the show. Larry gets involved as well, by going a little too far, trying to help Carlos with his Spanish, by stealing $20 from his mom's purse to get Spanish helping tapes. Then when he admits he stole it, his mom makes him work 5 hours at her salon for $4 an hour, to pay back the $20 he stole from her.
- 5. Bad Hair Day2000-08-20When Larry decides he is too old to have his hair cut by his mom, Ray and the boys take him for his first ""grown up"" hair cut to a nutty haircuter. Also, Sonia decides she needs a new look.
- 6. A Hunting We Will Go2000-08-27The boys learn a lesson in peer pressure when they stumble their way in to a hunting trip. Larry also learns to overcome his fears with a little help from his brothers. And the girls stay in by themselves at night, to do "girl things."
- 7. A Day in the Life2000-09-03Larry is asked to a film documentary on his family for school. The family gets a rude awakening in what they look like to the outside world but realize the only thing that matters is what they look like to each other.
