Synopsis
Paul Mallard, this perfectly ordered but transparent laboratory assistant, asks himself a question: must he make himself known in order to exonerate Jean Joseph Jenk and thus avoid him the death penalty ? He seeks advice from his brother Basile, a brilliant man, who has been successful in life and who presents the television news.

- 2. 21973-04-11Paul calls the police to make themselves known. In court, he said, "The one this man calls Polo is me !". And suddenly this dull little man plays a leading role. Overnight, everyone knows him and he already sees his destiny change.
- 3. 31973-04-12Jenk is released, and he immediately settles in Paul Mallard's house, blackmailing him on his false testimony. He completely takes over the little man, becomes demanding, threatening... Basile, Paul's brother is irritated by his brother's sudden celebrity.
- 4. 41973-04-13Jenk terrorizes Paul on a daily basis. His violence increases every day, and he has resumed his shady activity... Paul can no longer bear it. But how can this placid little man defend himself against this criminal ?
