Synopsis
A penetrating portrayal of the innermost essence of power, an exciting story about those who rule and those who suffer, about power and powerlessness, and ultimately: about perpetrators and victims. It is election night. Linda Jakobsson, married for 30 years to the Social Democratic finance minister Gert Jakobsson, sits at home on the sofa watching the election drama unfold on TV. Linda hears the commentators talking about the Social Democrats' biggest defeat, and just a glimpse of her better half on TV is enough: she can see that he has now decided to crush Prime Minister Per Viksten and take over as party leader himself. She can see it because she knows her husband as the power-hungry person he is. Mentally and physically, he has been exploiting his power over her for many years now.

1. Part 1Now viewing2008-02-1856mElection night 2006 at the Social Democratic party headquarters. The election is lost, and the struggle for power over the party begins. When outgoing Prime Minister Viksten decides to remain as party leader the start of a game behind the scenes commences to replace him with Finance Minister Gert Jakobsson. While Jakobsson appears calm and in control in his profession, he shows a vastly different side of himself at home. His wife Linda standing there at the mercy of her husband and his manipulative powers and unpleasant expressions.
2. Part 22008-02-2558mIntrigue thickens and Gert Jakobsson evolves into the natural choice for the post of party leader. Meanwhile his repression of his wife Linda reaches levels that are not acceptable for anyone. Matters get more complicated when the journalist from Dagbladet shows a growing interest in Linda.
3. Part 32008-03-0359mLinda leaves Gert which enables him to focus his interest and attention on his new disciple, Yasemin. His flirtation is however not well received by the party leadership nor Yasemin family.
4. Part 42008-03-1057mAfter the beating Yasemin disappears and her absence makes the rumors come to life. Gert and his colleagues are doing their best to mitigate the effects before the planned takeover but just when it is time for the last chess move Linda and Yasemine retaliate.
