Synopsis

Based on the novel by Sir Walter Scott, THE TALISMAN is a Crusades story of heroism, love and intrigue. Sir Kenneth, a bold Scottish knight, finds himself involved in political machinations and court intrigue as he discovers that enemies are not always who they seem to be.

5. Episode 51980-12-28Set to guard Richard's standard, Kenneth, the victim of a hoax, deserts his post and the standard is stolen. Condemned to death, he is saved by the intervention of El Hakim and taken as a slave to the Saracen camp.
6. Episode 61981-01-04Kenneth has been taken to Saladin as a bond slave. Edith is determined to find a way to save him.
7. Episode 71981-01-11King Richard is surprised to receive a gift from Saladin, a slave leading the hound Roswal. Outside the king's tent, the murderous Charegite awaits his opportunity.
8. Episode 81981-01-18Edith has still not returned to the Christian camp, where King Richard has challenged the treacherous Montserrat.
9. Episode 91981-01-25Kenneth, revealed as the natural son of the King of Scotland, is to fight Montserrat as the champion of King Richard.
