Synopsis

1. TuesdayNow viewing1996-04-2853mDaniel Feeld is a television writer whose latest work, 'Karaoke', is in production. He's in endless conflict with ambitious director Nick Balmer, who continues to try and change his script. Feeld is also undergoing medical tests in hospital after recently feeling ill. One day, he becomes disturbed when he overhears a passing couple voicing lines from his script, a murder thriller. Later, at dinner with a friend, he spots a girl at a table with a man seemingly repeating a scene from his work. His unsettled feelings intensify when he learns that the girl is called Sandra, just like his character, as in his work, she ends up murdered.
2. Wednesday1996-05-0553mFeeld is now in hospital, having collapsed at Arthur 'Pig' Mallion's Karaoke strip club after following Sandra there. His consultant sends him for tests, warning that it could be serious. While there, he receives an unexpected visit from Sandra, and tries to explain to her about his work and his premonitions in his script. Meanwhile, it becomes obvious to his work colleagues that Balmer is infatuated with Linda Langer, the actress playing Sandra. Balmer and Linda are in fact having an affair, and when he tries phoning her, little does he realise that Mallion is listening in!
3. Thursday1996-05-1253mFeeld leaves hospital, doped up on morphine to deal with the pain while he awaits the results. He is startled to learn that he has a character called Arthur Mallion in his script. Disturbed by his meeting with Sandra and the discovery of a gun in her bag, Feeld uses it to find out her address, but is shocked when he comes face to face with Sandra's mother. It is there that he learns what Sandra is plotting. Meanwhile, Linda tells Balmer that her flat has been bugged and shows him a threatening blackmail note, confirming Balmer's suspicions.
4. Friday1996-05-1953mBalmer realises he's being followed by two men in a car, henchmen sent by Mallion, determined to protect his interests Feeld learns his fate, and summons his agent Ben Baglin to draw up a new Will, listing Sandra as a beneficiary and ordering certain stipulations. Feeld must now make a momentous decision to change the course of events.
