Synopsis
Fumika and Kanaka are mail carriers- but not the typical kind. For one, Kanaka is a talking staff and for two, Fumika delivers shigofumi: letters from the dead addressed to the living. These letters are a final, true, communication derived from hate, hope, and love. The story unfolds following this pair and their uncommon job as well as Fumika's unique 'situation'.

2. Rocket2008-01-1224mShouta's body is found, and Asuna decides to leave by train. However, before she can leave, Fumika delivers a letter to Asuna from Shouta.
3. Friends2008-01-1924mSen, Kotake, and Nojima, playfully discuss jumping to their deaths. Later, Sen kills himself and Sen's father takes drastic measures to learn about his death.
4. Tears2008-01-2624mFumika attempts to deliver a letter to Ran, a high school tennis player. Ran's mother walked out on her as a child to live with another man and refuses to take the letter.
5. I'm Home2008-02-0224mFumika is assigned to deliver a letter to a cat. She runs into Chiaki, another mail carrier, who is also trying to deliver to the same cat.
6. Shout2008-02-0924mKoichi becomes victim to internet bullying and begs his classmate, Shunsuke for help. When Koichi dies, Shunsuke gets bullied himself and finds it difficult to go on living.
7. Kirameki2008-02-1624mNatsuka's sister Haruno lands an editors job for Kirameki Furikawa. Meanwhile, Kaname meets with Natsuka to learn more about Fumika Mikawa.
8. Beginning2008-02-2324mWhile Kaname and Haruno lock up Kirameki, Natsuka watches as Fumika easily removes the bullet and repairs her clothes. Fumika then reveals her true identity.
9. Reunion2008-03-0124mFumika, Kaname, and Natsuka go visit Fumika Kirameki in the hospital. Later, Chiaki invites Fumika on a trip.
10. Encounter2008-03-0824mTakehiko is asked to take care of a little girl named, Fumika while visiting a relative's house. Having left his job recently, he takes her out to have fun.
11. Awakening2008-03-1524mFumika awakens from her coma and is greeted warmly by Kaname and Natsuka. Meanwhile, Chiaki learns what would happen if the two Fumika's meet.
12. Shigofumi2008-03-2224mAfter reporting her father's abuse to the police, Fumika becomes a sort of celebrity. Fumika and her friends find it hard to adjust to the mail carriers absence.
13. And Then...2008-09-2624mA rumor is spreading in the school about the curse of Koichi Kikukawa, but the shigofumi the students are receiving from him may be fake. Suzune tries to befriend Fumika.
